Time to "Wrap" up the Year

Being that its December, I think its time to talk about some Christmas events that have happened so far. And if you had seen my kids lately they would tell you that Santa will be coming and we need to feed his reindeer. So this month the boys have had a lot of fun with school. During the beginning of the month, Daniel and Jared have been doing lots of Christmas themed project, excited as ever they have been hanging them all over my house. And counting down to when Santa comes. They had their first Christmas program for school, which went OK from I heard. I wasn't able to make it, so I had some wonderful family members that helped them get there. Good thing too, cause the boys weren't willing to sit up on stage by themselves. Thanks to Aubre and Annie for their good spirits. Afterwards after their singing they met up with me and told me it wasn't very much fun, that they don't like to sing like I do. I laughed but encouraged them that they did so good after we watched them on the camera.

We also did some cookie decorating, making a Princess gingerbread castle, a huge gingerbread cabin with garage and a huge gingerbread train. We went with my family down to the Spanish Fork lights for the first time in years, I made a personal trip to the Thanksgiving lights. Adriann is in love with the lights always asking me to take her to see more lights. The boys also had a Polar Express day at school, wearing their pj's while eating cookies and drinking milk. They also made a lot of gifts this year, and even got one from Mrs. Clark that they are waiting to open on Christmas day. We also got some Reindeer food, so that we can feed them on Christmas Eve. Then last week we went to go see Santa, which wasn't as bad of an event as I thought it might be. We got there and all the kids shut down wanted nothing to do with him. So I started telling Santa that Danny wanted a Airplane, and Danny jumps up and says " no, I want a working Mater, and Jared wants a lightening" and Jared who was at his crying stage, sits right up and in a very rude way says, "NO, I want a Truck". From there it was smooth sailing, took some awesome pictures, and off we went.

I love the Christmas Holiday when family is brought together. Celebrating the best birthday of the year! I can't wait to see our kids faces on Christmas morning.
